Alabama monk recreated 125 landmarks in miniature park

Brother Joseph Zoettl spent 46 years building 125 miniature replicas of famous religious sites at Ave Maria Grotto in northern Alabama. Using postcards and donated jewelry as references, he crafted intricate models now displayed on a four-acre park. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and remains a popular folk-art destination.
