Important Notice: By downloading, accessing, or using the Short2News mobile app or website (short2news.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Short2News Media Network Pvt. Ltd. ("Short2News", "we", "our"). These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and creators who access or use our short news aggregation and content services.

2. Platform Overview & Shorty AI Summaries

Short2News is an AI-powered short news aggregator. We aggregate publicly available news from accredited newspapers, digital publications, wire services, and press releases, presenting factual 60-word summaries with AI audio voiceovers.

Fair Use & Attribution: Every article card clearly cites the original publication or source news outlet along with links to the full story.
No Opinion: Short2News summaries are purely factual condensations and do not reflect personal endorsements or political affiliations.

3. Prohibited User Conduct

When using Short2News, you agree NOT to:

Post, upload, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, inciting communal violence, promoting terrorism, or infringing on intellectual property.
Distribute synthetic deepfakes, manipulated audio, or deliberately fraudulent news designed to mislead the public.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or overwhelm our backend infrastructure or APIs.
Create multiple fake accounts to game or manipulate the Creator Monetization rewards system.

4. Creator Monetization Terms ("Post & Earn")

Users who submit local news stories, viral memes, or short video reels through the Creator Portal agree to the following conditions:

Warranty of Originality: You warrant that you own or have the explicit legal right to submit any photos, videos, or news tips. You must not submit copyrighted watermarked material from other media companies.
Editorial Approval: Submissions are reviewed by our AI integrity filter and editorial desk. Short2News reserves the sole right to approve or reject any submission based on editorial standards.
Coin Rewards & Payouts: Approved submissions earn coins according to your Creator Trust Tier (1,000 Coins = ₹100 INR). Payouts are dispatched to verified Indian UPI IDs. Short2News complies with all statutory Indian tax deductions (TDS) as applicable under Section 194R / 194C of the Income Tax Act.
Fraud Penalties: Plagiarism, automated bot submissions, or misleading stories will result in immediate forfeiture of coins and permanent account blacklisting.

Short2News is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we employ rigorous fact-checking and automated sanity verification, we do not warrant that all aggregated wire updates will be free from temporary error. Short2News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
