Cases filed against TV anchor and panellist over Kanthapuram debate remarks

Kochi City cyber police booked journalist Aparna Kurup for allegedly making provocative statements during a TV debate on Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliyar's remarks, which the channel later removed. Two days earlier, panellist Abdulla Basil C.P., vice president of Wisdom Students, was booked following a complaint from Aparna alleging defamation and security threats linked to the broadcast.
