Chris Stafford and Warren Conard started a $15 haunted house in Denver in 2002 as a side business. It has now expanded into a multi-million-dollar enterprise operating 18 seasonal Halloween attractions across the United States. The company employed around 4,500 workers for the 2025 season and is branching into Christmas entertainment.
