India Meteorological Department seeks land for wind profiler radars

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) is actively searching for suitable land in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram to establish wind profiler radars. This initiative is part of the Union government's 'Mission Mausam' under the Ministry of Earth Sciences. The radars will enhance weather forecasting capabilities by providing crucial atmospheric data.
