Ireland reintroduces 245 white-tailed eagles after century-long extinction

Ireland has successfully reintroduced white-tailed eagles, once extinct a century ago. Conservationists released 245 chicks since 2007, leading to a growing wild population of around 150. These birds now breed and expand independently across the country. Despite threats, the species is recovering, showcasing effective conservation efforts.
