J&K Lt Gov Manoj Sinha flags off Amarnath Yatra 2026

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launched the 57‑day Amarnath Yatra 2026 from Jammu on July 3, sending more than 4,800 pilgrims toward the holy cave. The pilgrimage will run until August 28, with extensive security measures including armoured vehicles and aerial surveillance. Authorities aim to ensure a safe and spiritually fulfilling journey for devotees across the region.
