Mumbai artist Rouble Nagi wins $1 million Global Teacher Prize

Mumbai-based educator Rouble Nagi has been awarded the $1 million GEMS Education Global Teacher Prize 2026. Her foundation has established over 800 learning centers, providing formal education to one million children in underserved communities. Nagi intends to utilize the prize funds to launch a new institute focused on free vocational and digital literacy training.
