Over 1 Lakh Bound Over Ahead of Andhra Pradesh Local Polls

Andhra Pradesh police have bound over more than 1.05 lakh individuals to maintain peace ahead of the upcoming local body elections. Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta stated that authorities also executed 2,726 pending non-bailable warrants. Additionally, police registered 261 election-related cases while seizing illicit liquor and large quantities of ganja. These strict preventive measures aim to ensure a free, fair, and secure electoral process across the state.
