Supreme Court Urges Action Against Online Misuse of Court Feeds

The Supreme Court has asked the central government to implement strict measures to prevent the online misuse of live court proceedings and video feeds. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the bench that suggestions from various High Courts and stakeholders have already been forwarded to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. This move aims to protect judicial integrity and prevent the distortion of court proceedings shared on public platforms.
