Udupi Man Dies by Suicide Following Assault by Girlfriend's Family

Twenty-seven-year-old Pradeep from Nairkodi died by suicide in a government hospital toilet on October 30. He had been hospitalized after being severely assaulted by his girlfriend's brothers on October 27 following an altercation. Police are investigating the incident and the alleged threats made by the woman's family while he was receiving medical treatment.
