Activists urge Dharwad authorities to ban animal sacrifice at Holeyamma Devi fair

Dayanand Swami, president of a prominent animal welfare organization, has requested the Dharwad district administration to prohibit animal sacrifice during the upcoming Holeyamma Devi fair. The religious event is scheduled to take place in Kalaghatagi taluk from November 8 to 12. This appeal aims to ensure animal welfare and prevent cruelty during the traditional festivities.
