CID Court Orders Return of Rs 15 Crore in Crypto Fraud

A CID court in Andhra Pradesh has ordered the return of cryptocurrency worth Rs 15 crore to a Tenali-based woman. The victim was duped in a transnational crypto fraud scheme after being lured with promises of higher returns. CID DGP Ravi Shankar Ayyanar stated that the illicit funds were routed to an exchange in the Cayman Islands. This ruling marks a significant step in recovering assets lost to cross-border cyber financial crimes.
