Curative Rituals Begin After Elephant Panic at Shivamogga Dasara

Special religious rituals have commenced following an untoward incident during the Shivamogga Dasara procession. On October 21, the elephant carrying the Chamundeshwari idol suddenly panicked and ran backward along the route. The ceremonies are being performed to appease deities and prevent future disruptions during major cultural events.
