Four Fertiliser Ships Pass Through Hormuz to India

Four fertiliser vessels carrying Muriate of Potash have transited the Strait of Hormuz en route to Indian ports, according to the Chemicals Ministry. The shipment boosts India’s MoP inventory to 12.68 lakh tonnes from 10.68 lakh tonnes, enhancing domestic supply for the upcoming planting season. This move underscores India’s reliance on maritime routes for critical agricultural inputs.
