IAF to develop indigenous long-range kamikaze drones

The Indian Air Force has invited bids from domestic companies to produce long-range kamikaze drones, aiming for self‑reliance in drone technology. The initiative includes a parallel contract for 87 long‑range UAVs. The move is intended to ready the force for future drone‑centric warfare and boost indigenous defence manufacturing.
