Kerala Police Downgrades Pinarayi Vijayan's Personal Security

The Kerala Police has downgraded the personal security cover of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan from Z+ to Y category. Under the revised protocols, the Chief Minister and the Governor will no longer receive the highest tier of protection previously assigned. State Ministers, the Speaker, and the Deputy Speaker will now receive Y category security with dedicated escorts.
