Maharashtra Allocates ₹160 Crore for Primitive Tribes Development

The Maharashtra government has allocated ₹160 crore in the 2026-27 budget for the development of primitive tribes. This financial package includes ₹130 crore reserved specifically for primitive tribes and ₹30 crore for the Pardhi community. Furthermore, the initiative provides a 100 percent government grant for individual and collective benefit schemes to uplift marginalized populations across the state.
