Quebec conservation deals protect 1,100 acres of land

Ducks Unlimited Canada has successfully safeguarded over 1,100 acres of land in southern Quebec through strategic purchases and landowner gifts. Backed by more than C$2 million in local funding, this initiative aims to preserve vital ecological balance and regional biodiversity. Additionally, a newly opened 1.5-kilometre trail has been introduced to enhance public access to these protected natural habitats.
