Steve Jobs customized his Gulfstream V jet after Larry Ellison's design
In the late 1990s, Steve Jobs received a Gulfstream V jet as a reward for his leadership at Apple. Inspired by Larry Ellison’s aircraft, Jobs purchased an identical model but insisted on simplifying the cabin door mechanism. Following his death, the custom jet was acquired by former Apple designer Jony Ive.
