Tamil Nadu Launches Nammalvar-Named Diploma College for Organic Farming

Minister R. Vinoth presented the Tamil Nadu Agriculture Budget 2026-27 in the Legislative Assembly, announcing a new diploma college named after Nammalvar to promote organic farming. He also revealed that the Horticultural Research Station in Ooty, Nilgiris, will be upgraded into a state‑of‑the‑art Agricultural Technology Research Centre. The initiatives aim to boost sustainable agriculture and support farmers in the state.
