Tamil Nadu restricts firecracker bursting to two hours on Deepavali

The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has urged the public to burst firecrackers only between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. during Deepavali. This measure aims to curb air and noise pollution during the festival celebrations. Authorities hope citizens will cooperate to ensure a safer environment across the state.
