Telangana adds 359 PG medical seats in government colleges

The Telangana government has approved 359 additional postgraduate medical seats for the 2026-27 academic year. This expansion increases the total state intake to 1,625 seats across 23 government medical colleges. The move significantly boosts medical education capacity, as previously only 10 government colleges offered postgraduate courses in the state.
