Tesla to End Cybertruck Production by Mid-2027
Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Cybertruck production will cease at Gigafactory Texas by mid-2027. The company plans to repurpose the facility to prioritize the manufacturing of Cybercab robotaxis. This decision follows consistently low sales figures and multiple product recalls, which hindered the truck from meeting its original annual delivery targets.
