Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar has assured complete government assistance to farmers in Andhra Pradesh who suffered extensive crop damage due to recent cyclones. Despite facing El Nino-induced drought conditions, farmers achieved impressive yields this year using irrigation water from the Pattiseema project. However, the unexpected adverse weather severely impacted paddy, black gram, and cotton cultivation across the region.
